This is a pre-owned ring made by James Avery from solid sterling silver & 14k yellow gold marked. 925 & 585 the European mark for 14k with the James Avery symbol. On inside of ring. It has a Dove set into the center heart shape that is made from 14k yellow gold. Around the Dove has an oxidized sterling finish to it. Ring is a size 8. Heart shape is approx. 6mm at shoulders tapering to approx. 4mm at smallest point in rear. Ring weighs 6.8g. Nice ring in fair/good pre-owned condition; ring has scratching/wear to it. Beautiful openwork descending dove with a halo pendant is in very good gently used and pre-owned condition with a nice patina. The fine link chain measures 18 and has a sturdy lobster claw clasp that is hallmarked 925 on the back and the tag reads AVERY STERLING. The pendant measures approximately 1 1/4″ x 1 1/8″ and is hallmarked AVERY STER. The necklace and chain weigh 7.4 total grams and is one of my very favorite Avery pieces. James Avery was a World War II veteran and the founder of the James Avery Artisan Jewelry company: Early life Born in Chicago in 1921, Avery was a decorated pilot who flew 44 missions over Germany. After the war, he studied industrial design at the University of Illinois and taught at the University of Iowa and the University of Colorado. Jewelry making Avery began making jewelry in his free time around 1951. He was inspired to create art that he found meaningful, and hoped others would find it meaningful too. He printed his first catalog in 1957 and opened his first store and manufacturing facility in Kerrville in 1967. Designs Avery’s designs were inspired by his faith, and often included faith-based images like crosses, chalices, doves, and fish. He also designed a pin for the Apollo XII astronauts, and was commissioned by NASA twice more.

This is extremely rare from what I can tell because I cannot find another one with the same design/pattern. Patina consistent with its vintage age. If you want me to I can go get it measured and or cleaned at a local place. But only if the purchaser wants that.
