There is a layer of nickel between the Silver and Rhodium that attracts a little. Nickel is used because the acid technique of plating for Rhodium can damage the Silver. JAMES AVERY RETIRED STERLING SILVER DANGLE RING WITH LETTER J AND HEART CHARMS. These gorgeous ring and charms are authentic James Avery pieces in sterling silver. The ring is stamped inside with the candle sticks JA 925. The letter J charm is stamped Avery 925 and the open heart is also a James Avery charm but the markings Avery has worn off and the 925 is very faded and barely readable. The charms dangle from the ring that is 5mm in width. This is a retired dangle ring and a very rare find. The ring does not come in its original packaging.
